NTUBC plans to field a crew into the Temple Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta this year. The racing season started at the Metropolitan Regatta, held on the London 2012 Olympic Course, Dorney Lake.

Our top 8 was racing in IM1 8s, which saw them put into a tough heat containing Molesey, Royal Chester, Nonesuch BC and University of Bath, with the 8 coming across the line in a solid 2nd place giving them confidence heading into the final.

In a thrilling final the 8 came off the start strong and lead to the 500m marker, before eventually battling to a close 3rd place, behind Molesey and Upper Thames.
